Service overview

DoorstepDiva connects clients with verified BeautyPros who provide services at your home, at the pro's own residence or studio, or in a partner salon, including:

• Makeup application and styling
• Hair styling, cutting and colouring
• Nail care, manicures and pedicures
• Skincare treatments and facials
• Special-event beauty preparation
• Beauty consultations and personalised advice

Accounts and registration

To use our services you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Tell us immediately about any unauthorised access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

BeautyPro obligations

BeautyPros on the platform agree to:

• Maintain current professional licences and certifications
• Provide services with professional skill and care
• Use high-quality, safe products
• Hold appropriate insurance cover
• Follow all health and safety protocols
• Respect client privacy and property

Booking and payment

• All bookings must be made through the platform
• Payment is authorised at booking and captured at confirmation
• Service fees and taxes are disclosed before payment
• Platform commission is deducted from the BeautyPro's payout
• Commission rate depends on the pro's active plan
• Payouts settle three business days after a completed visit

Cancellations and refunds

• Clients may cancel 24 hours or more before a visit with a full refund
• Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a 50% late fee
• No-shows are charged the full service amount
• Pros cancelling a booking triggers a full refund to the client
• Weather and emergency cancellations are handled case by case
• Refunds return prepaid credit first, then cash, within 5–7 business days

Subscriptions and plans

• Pro and client plans renew automatically until cancelled
• Plan changes take effect immediately with prorated billing
• Cancellation takes effect immediately and stops future renewals
• Commission and discount rates follow your plan at the time of booking

Liability and insurance

• BeautyPros carry their own liability insurance
• Clients are responsible for disclosing allergies and medical conditions
• Property damage claims are handled through insurance channels
• Platform liability is limited to the extent permitted by law

Prohibited activities

• Circumventing platform booking or payment systems
• Creating fake reviews or manipulating ratings
• Sharing inappropriate or offensive content
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Discriminatory behaviour of any kind
• Using the platform for illegal activity

Support and disputes

• Report issues through the platform first
• We mediate service-related conflicts between clients and pros
• Formal complaints can be submitted through our contact form
• Legal disputes are subject to binding arbitration

Changes to these terms

• Material changes are communicated 30 days in advance
• Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance
• You may close your account if you disagree with a change

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DoorstepDiva is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms are resolved through binding arbitration.
